If you haven't seen the match review for the previous match or Match No.11 then please click the following link.  Match Review-Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Delhi Capitals-Match No.11-Dream 11 IPL 2020.  So let's get into the review.

1.  The Toss:

The toss was won by RR and Smith decided to bowl first.  Yet again a team has decided to bowl?  No, i'm not getting it!  Why the hell do you chase if you know you are going to lose?  That is what that is going in mind of all the franchises in this year's IPL.

Every single franchise wins the toss and choses to bowl and loses the game.  KKR had an upper hand in this game as they will be batting first.  And they made no changes to their squad as they finally found a balance.  RR too came here making no changes.  So let's get into the first innings.

2.  First Innings:

KKR came on with the familiar opening pair of Sunil Narine and Shubhman Gill.  Narine struggled yet again as Archer and Rajpoot were repeatedly giving him problems.  But when Narine found the rhythm by hitting consecutive boundaries, but perished once again.  Nitish Rana scored a 17 ball 22 while Shubhman Gill was scoring at a steady rate.  Archer continued to trouble KKR batsmen with his extreme pace.  Whenever he came in he took away one or two wickets.  He was absolutely economical until his last over.  Russel made a  small contribution to the total.  It was in the last over that he conceded 14 runs.  Morgan and Cummins stitched a small partnership to take the score past 170.

KKR realy played well in the last 5 overs.  Because they really lost their path in a small period between the 10th and the 15th overs.  So now KKR really got a belief that they can restrict RR at a much bigger ground than Sharjah.  Will RR defy all odds and prove that they are one of the strongest teams in this year's IPL? Let us find out in the second innings.

3.  Second Innings:

When RR came on to bat in the second innings, they really were a different side to what we saw in their first two matches.  The bowlers and Batsmen swapped roles.  As Bowlers were scoring runs like batsmen and barsmen were getting out like bowlers.  Samson and Smith were swinging their bats like anything.  Buttler showed glimpses of old form, but was hugely inconsistent.  They crumbled down to a score of 66/6 at the end of 11 overs and kept on losing wickets.  Nagarkoti and Mavi paired up for 4 wickets by conceding 33 for 6 overs totally.  Nagarkoti also contributed through catches.  Tom Curran's late blitz saved some Net Run Rate.  Tom Curran Scored a 50.  He registered his highest score in T20's. He was the one and only positive in their chase.  Narine was demolished, cummins was phenominal, Nagarkoti was brilliant, and Mavi was the pick of the bowlers.

RR have nothing to sort out with the players, it is with the staff.  They should choose the toss choices well and should not go blindfoldedly and try to chase out the total.  They should know their strengths and then choose what to do.  So, good luck RR.  The review is not complete without the Final Summary.
