Match Review-Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Kolkata Knight Riders-No.28-Dream 11 IPL 2020

Welcome to another match review and today it is RCB Vs KKR. RCB had already  won 4 out of their 6 and KKR too had wom 4 out of their six, and now it was time to find who would get the better of whom.  So let us get straight in to the toss.

1.  The Toss:

Dinesh Karthik and Kohli met each other and Kohli decided that he will bat first and he made only one change as he replaced Gurkeerat with  Mohammed Siraj.

And as far as KKR are concerned Dinesh Karthik replaced Sunil Narine with Tom banton, as Narine Is dealing with a suspect action once again.

2.  First Innings:

First inning started in a high as Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch gave a very good start for RCB.  Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal where finding it very easy to hit runs on that Sharjah wicket.  But after the end of the Powerplay, they runs really dried up and Padikkal lost his wicket to Andre Russell.  Then, finch and kohli were keeping their eyes on 250 but KKR did beautifully well, especially Chakravarthy, who bowled exceptionally well in the middle overs to keep the run rate low.  Then, when the score was 94, Prasidh Krishna struck in the 13th over to remove set, Aaron Finch.  They didn't know that they were about to unleash the De Villiers syndrome.

AB came in and then, we saw a masterclass from both AB and Kohli.  Kohli didn't stand in Ab's Way as he gave the majority of the strike to De Villiers.  De Villiers took time but when he got set, the boundary rope seemed too small.  And the cars which were moving in the highway were forced to take diversions into alternate ways because AB was sending it out of the park back to back.  Russel came into bowl the last over and there was no change in the run flow.  Finally Ab finished with 73 off 33 to get RCB to an unassailable total of 194.  Kohli played a good supportive knock.  So let us see whther KKR can pull this off?

3.  Second Innings:

Second inning started by and KKR never had any intentions Of Chasing down 192.  Other than Gill there was only gas left in KKR batting order.   Tom banton was thoroughly cleaned up by Navdeep Saini.  Nitish Rana was just swinging his bat all the way around.  Eoin Morgan struggle to get any momentum and Dinesh Karthik succumbed due to scoreboard pressure.  Andre Russell did not stay long.  Russel had huge expectations but he was removed by Isuru Udana.  Gill.had got out before all of these guys, but he was the only bright light.  Tripathi was searching for the ball everytime.  According to me the difference between both the sides was the spin attack.  RCB attacked with two world class spinners in the name of Washington Sundar

and Yuzvendra Chahal.  Also the pacers were adjusting themselves well by giving no loose balls and were repeatedly taking pace off the ball.  KKR were trashed by RCB and they have to be more decent with their bowling.  So here is the final summary.

Final Summary:

          RCB: 192/4 20 Overs

         De Villiers: 73*(33); A.Finch: 47(37)

          P.Krishna: 1/42 (4)

          KKR: 112/9 20 Overs

          S.Gill: 34(25); A.Russel: 16(10)

          C.Morris: 2/17 (4)

Man Of The Match: A.De Villiers
