All Announced Squads Ahead Of The Euros This Summer

Top Players Who Are Available For Free This Summer-2021

We are back here at the winter transfer window and all our transfer predictions might be going on.  I was here last May speaking about the players who are available for free in summer of 2020.  And We are back here discussing about the players who are available for free this summer.  We have some big names in here, so let us get in.

The list is made up based on their possibility and also their value.  Low Valued guys will be placed above and the value will increase.  So let us get into it.

10. David Luiz

No.1 on our list is one of the best ball playing centre-backs of his generation on my opinion, it is the Brazilian defender cum defensive Midfielder David Luiz.  I can only remember his freekicks with Brazil and his wonderful performances when he was at Chelsea.  He is not only a good defender, but his ball playing ability is the one which caught everyone's eyes.  He is a decent dribbler and a wonderful passer.     But his defensive skills has always been questionable even when he was at Chelsea, he makes many mistakes in defending, but he has always been good on the ball.  And once he got past his 30's he has looked very rusty whenever he plays and also he is being an outcast of himself.  Who remembers his awful error against Man City.

A Dissappointed David Luiz

He was mimicked for it.  He is no more an indispensable defender, but can be used as a midfielder.  His contract is coming to an end and Arteta is building a young squad, so he may not be in the plans of Arteta.  He is still starting games for Arteta's side, but for their good, they have to get him off.  He still has two more years of top level European football, but I don't think he will have it with Arsenal.  He might attract some of the lower order Clubs, like Fulham in Premier League.  So Luiz for a free going to a lower order team might be a bargain for the team signing him.  He is a good player who can be signed pretty easily given the fact that arsenal have not yet signed a contract with him.  So a Pre-Contract agreement could be in effect.

9. Javi Martinez

Javi Martinez is the next one on our list.  The Basque holding midfielder is one of his kind.  He is one of the players who thrived under Marcelo Bielsa's Athletic Bilbao, he used to do the role that Kalvin Phillips does now at Leeds.  He makes sure that he stays there for the defense when the full backs push high up the pitch.  Martinez is solid in defence and also is good on the ball.  He then made his move to Bavarian giants.  He was a regular starter when he started his Bayern career and slowly changed into a second choice option after the arrival of players like Goretzka and Kimmich.

This May Be Javi"s Last Season In Bavaria.

Their arrival was not only the reason, his body began to rip off after the 15/16 season, he had many injuries which cut the flow of his game.  He is 32 now but is still decent, and getting him for free is a very big bargain and Bayern also want to offload his wages.  Bayern have not yet renewed his contract yet and also would not do it in the upcoming weeks.  Last Summer, he was linked with a struggling Athletic Bilbao, what would have been a nostalgic return to the Basque club.  But that move faded out.  He might still attract some of the La Liga Clubs and will have 2 or 3 decent years there.  So farewell Javi.

8. Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler is the next one on the list, Draxler was one of the best young prospects when he started his career in Germany.  He then made his big money move to the Parc Des Princes under Unai Emery who has an obsession with German Players.  He started well, but the biggest problem is that he is very injury ridden.

 Draxler Getting Injured.

He has missed so many games since signing for PSG.  He is still being used, but no more as a starter at PSG.  And his contract is due to end this summer and PSG might not renew his contract given his injury prone nature.  But when he is fully fit, he is a delight to watch.  Given the fact he is still only 27 years old, he still has lot of football in him.  Getting him for a free, is one of the best ever things that your club may do.  He might attract Serie A clubs, especially Roma, which now serves as the renaissance home for refugees or the flops at their former clubs.  Take examples of Dzeko and Pedro.  So Italy may be the best destination for him because, Italian football might suit his style as it is more technical than any of the leagues.

7. Angel Di Maria

Angel Di Maria, the Argentine technician is the next on the list.  Di Maria after flopping at United, relaunched his career at PSG and is an indispensable starter for the club.  His versatility really is helping the side from Paris.  He has absolutely had a wonderful career at Paris and is running out of contract this summer.

 Always a PSG Legend....

PSG most likely might sign him back, but his age may raise some concerns as he is 32 now.   He is still bagging goals and assists for PSG but PSG might look for some youngsters, or mostly sign him back.  For the moment, he is free to leave and will definitely prosper at any club that he goes to.

6. Florian Thauvin

Another player from the french league, it seems like french teams don't like to renew contracts a year before and let it run out.  Florian Thauvin had a mixed outing in the Premier League, but has ultimately changed himself as a goal scoring machine at Marseille. He is one of the best players in the league for a number of years now and has not yet renewed his contract until now.  He might attract some of the Serie A clubs, especially A.C.Milan, who were close to signing him last summer.

What An Addition Would He Be For The Rossoneri.

But they could not make it happen.  But now it can happen for free because he is closing the end of his contract.  Milan are the primary leaders to secure his services and it would be a wonderful signing for them if it happens, as it seems, he seems to a good fit in Milan under Pioli.  Pioli desperately needs a Winger and Thauvin at his peak can very really rule Italy in that position.  Thauvin for now does not have any intentions of a renewal at Marseille, so he might move for free this summer.

5. Georginio Wijnaldum

Barcelona do remember the name, Gini Wijnaldum, the man who destroyed Barcelona in the champions league 3 years back(2018-19).  The Dutch midfielder is still in his prime and his former international boss is the one who is wanting him.  Koeman wants Wijanaldum at Barca and he will be happy to have him for free.

 Wijnaldum With His Dutch Boss

Wijnaldum is being preferred to replace Busquets at the team as Busquets is too old now.  Wijnaldum is still one of the main players at klopp's liverpool, but Liverpool have many more youngsters like Curtis Jones to cover up for him.  Given he is 30 and still at his peak and available for free, this must be a Bargain for Barca.  He is free to negotiate and Barca need to do some clever business unlike their previous big money signings.  Gini a well worthy player to serve for Barcelona

4. Sergio Aguero

Then, here we come to Manchester City's all time best signing and one of the best ever Players to have ever played for Man City and also in the Premier League, we have Argentine Sergio Aguero in the free agent club.  Aguero is running out of contract and is now available for contract negotiations with other clubs and also with City.  But, there is a problem of city signing him back.  His Age.  He is 32 now and this season has been disastrous for Sergio Aguero.  He is being injured frequently.

 Huge Disappointment!!!!!

It is very clear that his body is giving up after so many years of top level football.  He is a player on the decline and Any team which wants to take the more out of him has to do it the next two years because that is the time left for the Aguero that we saw and dropped our jaws.  After that he will no more be the same player he once was.  He had a good last season and also has performed well in the champions league this year for City.  But he is frequently injured, which leaves the club uncertain to extend his contract.  But I guess, he may well and truly leave city.  And there are many destinations that await his arrival, Mainly La Liga, where Barca contacted him, but the transfer failed due to Griezmann's revival.  Aguero can still rule the pitch and getting him for free might well be good for the team that affords his wages.

3. David Alaba

Coming up on number three is the left back turned Centre-Back David Alaba.  Alaba is arguably one of the best centre backs in the world right now and it is shocking that Bayern have not yet renewed his contract.  He is linked with Real Madrid who are looking for a long-term replacement for club legend Sergio Ramos as he is heading towards the twilight of his career.  Alaba is 28 and as a defender, he still has many more years of top level football in him.  And given he is available to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club outside Germany, he will arrive for free without any transfer fee.

Alaba Indeed Has Agreed A Pre-Contract Agreement With Real Madrid.

For a player of his value, he would have been sold over 80 million, but now clubs will be looking to make the most of the situation by signing him for free as his contract ends this summer.  And he might well move to Real Madrid, or just renew his 10 year long Bond with the Bavarian giants.

2. Memphis Depay

We have here with us, inarguably one of the best dutch players in the whole of the world right now.  It is Memphis Depay and also it is no wonder that his former Dutch boss is desperately wanting him at Barcelona.  But Barcelona have clearly been informed that he is not looking to sign a pre-contract agreement as he looks to run his contract fully out until the end of this season and may be after the end of the season, Barcelona may well contact him and look to get him to Camp Nou, but Ronald Koeman has to stay until the end of the season to sign him here.

Depay Silencing Juventus In The Champions League.

But given Barcelona's squad which is struggling to find a way to play Dembele, Coutinho, Griezmann together as they are not hit by injury plagues recently, Depay, coming in could well end his career at Barcelona.  But, given that Messi is very likely to leave this summer, Depay could somehow find a place in the team if Koeman is there.  Let us  wait for the season to end and wait for Depay to make his way into the camp nou.

1. Lionel Messi(La Pulga)

And we have La Pulga finally, one of the best players to have ever played the game, ever!  Lionel Messi has rediscovered his love for the game and also his form at Barcelona after the dismal few months of 2020.  He is happy now for many reasons, Barca are doing well, Griezmann is back as the player once he was at Atletico and Coutinho is so unlucky as he picked up his magic back but broke his wand in the process.  And Dembele finally is playing without injury and is playing well too and finally Pedri who is impressing every day.  These are the reasons that he is happy at the moment, but he still has not put his future thoughts away,  he might finish his career here, but he said in an interview that he wants a change in air and also a different challenge to take upon.  With City being his closest destination as he could get one last chance to work with his mentor Pep.

Brother-Mentor-Coach-Boss; Pep has a very strong bond with La Pulga
Juve were also chasing him to unite him with Ronaldo to give the fans a wonderful sight of two best ever footballers playing together as mates.

There is a lot more left to amaze us at the end of this season as we might see some awesome transfer deals going through and we await some shocks as well.  So put your seat belts on as a mind blowing 6 months of football awaits us.
