Match Review-Mumbai Indians Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad-Match No.17-Dream 11 IPL 2020

Welcome to another Match review and today the review is about the first match of the double header on Sunday.  It is Mumbai vs Hyderabad or MI Vs SRH.  Mumbai Indians could really go to top if they win this match.  And SRH were looking to add to their points tally.  Both Warner and Rohit had only one intention, that is to win.  And at Sharjah, we were to expect an entertaining blockbuster.  So without further delay let's get to the toss.

1.  The Toss:

The toss was won by Rohit and he decided to bat and there was no wonder and surprise in that case, because the pitch is good, ground is small and they have the firepower to get past 200 which is mandatory at this ground.

And as far as the team of Mumbai went unchanged again and SRH replaced injured Bhuvi and inconsistent Khaleel with Kaul and Sandeep Sharma respectively.  The game was perfectly set up for a cracker, so let us get to the first innings.

2.  First Innings:

MI started the first innings with Rohit sharma getting out after hitting a six.  Then Suryakumar Yadav hit splashing strokes to help De Kock set up his innings.

Suryakumar Yadav got out throwing his wicket to a widish delivery.  Then, De Kock was joined by Kishan and both of them built up the innings well.  De Kock raced his way to a 60 and Ishan Kishan was throwing the bowlers off.  But De Kock mis hit some deliveries and was dropped once by Manish Pandey.  Manish Pandey was simply a waste in the fiels untill that splendid catch that he took to dismiss Ishan Kishan.  Then Pandya Joined De Kock but Rashid dimissed De Kock to bring in Pollard.  And both of them took the score over 185.  And When Hardik got out in the last over with 4 balls left, Krunal Pandya played an absolute gem of an innings.  He scored 20 runs off his 4 balls to take the score to 208.  Now the target looked so decisive.  But at sharjah nothing is impossible so let us get to the second innings.

3.  Second Innings:

As usual Warner and Bairstow opened the innings, but couldn't get SRH to a good start.  But then Warner and Manish Pandey built a superb partnership which shoud've got them over the line.  But Rohit's Super rotation of bowlers and his master tactics took the wicket of both Warner and Pandey.

After their dismissal the game slowed up and dried up.  Trent Boult was another reason why MI were so good.  He bowled well and is leading the Charge for MI with 8 wickets to his name.  He also was a gun while fielding, no mistakes what so ever.  Pattinson and Bumrah took 2 each.  Surely, MI wins because of their pace attack.  As i have to say SRH lost thier path and eventually lost the game.  They lost by 34 runs and have a lot of tinkering in their middle order to go far in this tournament.  Also, Sandeep and Kaul together conceded 105 runs in their 8 overs.  They have to work on it as well  And MI just have to retain this form to go a ths way.  So everybody, giddy up the next review of the KXIP Vs CSK match will be with you tomorrow.  Now, here is the final summary.

Final Summary:
