IPL Prediction-Predicting The Points Table.

So finally IPL Cricket has arrived. After five months of weight we can finally witness the stunning catches and nail biting finishes the Mumbai Indians Face Off against they arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in the IPL opener sports curator is really very curious about how all the teams play throughout this IPL So here are IPL predictions and we are going to predict the points table of this year's IPL

Let's start from eight place and then study leave on towards the first.

8.  Royal Challengers Bangalore

                           So time for all those Royal Challengers Bangalore fans it is hard to say but I don't Feel that there is enough firepower in this RCB team to make it through to the playoffs.

  There is Virat Kohli there is Ab De Villiers.  And They have added Aaron finch Who adds to their top order power.   But their bowling side of the game is really weak. I swear that their bowling Will let them down. The spin attack really relies heavily on Chahal problems arise at this point because, due to this immense pressure put on Chahal he may crumble under the expectations and may underperform.  Last time RCB played in UAE they had a very tough time, even after coming back to India they could never get to the top four.  Even with the inclusion of Players like Dale Steyn and finch, I don't think they can make it to the playoffs this season.  

7.  Sunrisers Hyderabad

                           Everybody might be shocked about the place that I have given for Sunrisers Hyderabad.   But this is the truth, the middle order of Sunrisers Hyderabad gives me no hope.  They have the likes of David Warner, Jonny Bairstow and Kane Williamson but Cricket is a team sport, remember that folks.

  Apart from these three pillars and a frequently injured Bhuvi and an inconsistent Kaul, this team has nothing.  The bowling side which was their biggest strength looks like their biggest disadvantage.  Somehow if Rashid could make some magic with his wrist spin they could only go upto 5th place but no more than that.

6.  Kolkata Knight Riders

                          The Knight Club is one Of the two teams to stay and play most of their games in Abu Dhabi.  Apart from the new signing Pat Cummins the bowling attack looks deflated once again.  Lack of quality Indian seamers really  Make their bowling attack very weak.  With Kuldeep Yadav hugely inconsistent

and young Varun Chakravarthy not living up to his expectations, so the spin attack also looks weak.  Even if Gill, Karthik, Russel and Narine manage to win games for them, I just do not have the belief that they can make it to the top four.  Better Luck Next Time KKR.  

5.  Kings XI Punjab 

                         The Kings have once again put some good work on the auction.  But the only disadvantage is their captain KL. Rahul.  I am not talking about KL Rahul the Batsman or KL Rahul the Wicket Keeper, I'm talking about KL Rahul the Captain.  I just don't know whether he could lead them to glory in his first ever season as captain.  But there is a small side in me which says that he could thrive under the pressure and become a glorius captain like Rohit Sharma.

Because Sharma took over from Ponting in 2013 and won MI their first title in that year in his first season as captain.  So I had put them here on a 50/50 only because of Rahul.  Other than that the team is really one of the stronger ones on paper.  If Rahul thrives then the Kings could really go all the way and win the IPL for the first time in their history.  

4.  Mumbai Indians

                        All you Mumbai fans might be shocked to hear this but I don't see them going far than 4. Malinga's absence is the reason.  A Malinga less Mumbai never made it to the play offs.  For example, in 2008, 2016 and in 2018.  If Rohit scores well then Mumbai could stay at 4 or move up to 3 or 2 but If Rohit fails, Mumbai cannot go past 4 or even be overseen by the Kings.

  A Malinga less bowling attack now relies strongly on his successor Jasprit Bumrah.  Which was the case in 2018 were the Bowling atrack was the sole reason that they crashed out of the tournament.  So, according to me the 4th place is uncertain and to be decided between Rahul's Punjab and Rohit's Mumbai.  

3.  Chennai Super Kings 

                        You may ask me, once again a knockout game between MI and CSK!  but I fear it is, Chennai Super Kings are getting older ever year, that is the same story this year around as well.

They have some positives in them in the form of Sam Curran or a Hazlewood or a Tahir, who have been in red hot form recently.

                         You have seen only half of the picture, to be frank there are many disadvantages with CSK this year. Like that of a Dhoni and Rayudu who have not played a single competitive match for more than a year.

  I don't know whether they could play like they did in 2018.  I expect a big form dip in both of these veterans as they may be rusty and could take more than 5 or 8 matches to get into a rhythm

                         Their Bowling is somewhat sorted out with the inclusion of Curran and Hazlewood, but to play these players, Dhoni has to Sacrifice Bravo.

 

Bravo Had A Horrendous CPL 2020 Where He Just Couldn't Make An Impact In The Game.

  Bravo's performance has not been upto the level as he really struggled for form in this year's CPL.  So Bravo must be left out for CSK's welfare.

                        Wait all you CSK fans, there is one more positive left in your team, that is CSK's powerhouse.  I really belive in their powerhouse,  the man who has been defining CSK for years, Captain, Thala, M.S.Dhoni.  Dhoni's captaincy skills will be the only factor which could get them to 3rd place.  However Chinna Thala's absence is a disadvantage. But Chennai Would able to manage his absence with Murali Vijay.   

2.  Rajasthan Royals

                     It's a Royal feast this year as the Royals favour themselves as one of the strong contenders for the title.  The reason, their overseas strength.  For the past two seasons their overseas players especially their players from England were not be available in their crucial stages.  Which was their biggest disadvantage.  But this season Stokes, Buttler, Smith are available for the full course of the season which makes them one of the toughest side.  With the Gladiator Smith as Captain and an IPL favourite Samson, their batting order looks so strong with Miller in their team.

  Even though they have some flaws in their Bowling attack they could manage it to the playoffs and even win it for the second time.  So a Royal Feist awaits us.  

1.  Delhi Capitals

                    There is not much to say about Delhi Capitals because they have got all bases covered and if they can put all these together and form a winning formula then they will be inevitable, just like Thanos.  They really stole Aussie youngster and BBL 2020's highest Wicket taker Daniel Sams
